The table toppers are currently having a dream run along with Liverpool FC and Manchester City for whom losing seems like a lost thought. Maurizio Sarri would be keen to bring their trump card Eden Hazard after he was benched during the club’s last UEFA Europa League Fixture. Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic have been the preferred midfield trio, though the latter has started two games this week and may be given a breather, opening the door for one of Loftus-Cheek or compatriot Barkley to come in. Barkley, incidentally, could become the first Englishman to score in three consecutive top-flight games for Chelsea since Frank Lampard in February 2013. Chelsea thankfully have all the players fit and none are taking time off due to injuries. Chelsea haven’t really found a reason to hamper with their stable formation 4-3-3 and I highly doubt that they would change it ahead of this game.

Everton manager Marco Silva is set to hand summer signing Yerry Mina his full competitive debut when the Toffees take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The Colombian centre-back made a substitute appearance last weekend against Brighton then played the full 90 minutes in a friendly against Gor Mahia on Tuesday. Mina was involved in the opening two goals during the 4-0 win over the Kenyan champions and received some valuable minutes ahead of his expected first Premier League start. The 24-year-old is likely to line up alongside Michael Keane in central defence with Kurt Zouma ineligible against his parent club, Chelsea FC. Zouma is currently loaned out by Chelsea FC. Seamus Coleman should line up on the other side of defence while Andre Gomes will partner Idrissa Gueye in midfield. Richarlison has been stationed as a lone striker in recent weeks ahead of an attacking trio featuring Theo Walcott, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bernard. Walcott who was a product of Arsene Wenger in Arsenal could torment the Chelsea with his blitzkrieg wing attacks. However, young winger Ademola Lookman is pushing for a start and could come in at the expense of either Walcott or Bernard. Finally, Silva will have been pleased to see James McCarthy feature on Tuesday as he continues his recovery from a horrific leg break, although the Irish midfielder is still short of match fitness. The injury of players like Phil Jagielka, Jonjoe Kenny and James McCarthy would surely lighten the burden for the juggernaut of Chelsea.

Trends by Cover the Spread 365

Chelsea FC

Chelsea has an upper hand with 2 wins in the prior three meetings and a draw in their most recent face off.

Everton FC

Everton haven’t won a single match in their last three meetings and managed to just scramble off a draw in their last meeting.

Chelsea FC would have a cake walk victory against Everton without conceding a goal and continue their zero defeat streak in the Premier League. It wouldn’t be very surprising to expect Chelsea to score two or more goal against Everton at their home turf, Stamford Bridge. It is expected to see a 35/60 possession percentage in favor of the hosts. Everton don’t stand a chance to score a goal against the Blues; Chelsea’s form is at 100% while Everton are shaky at just 55%

Pick: Everton FC +1.75
