Burnley FC: vs. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace Vs Burnley FC

Premier League

Selhurst Park

10:00 AM, Saturday 01-13-2018

Team News Crystal Palace:

Roy Hodgson’s Palace are looking confident after their triumph away, against the Southampton. Considering that they’ve managed to restrict Man City to a goal-less draw, is a great pick that makes this side unpredictable. They look to climb up the table with a victory in their home game. As a matter of fact, Palace are too far from scoring goals, having only 20 in their name, while conceding 33. The return of Wilfried Zaha from an injury have greatly improved their performance and this Star Performed has five out of those twelve goals scored. Palace have an upper hand over Stoke City with a 26-19 lead in their head to head encounters, with another 13 of them being ended as draws.

Crystal Palace has been in the midst of absolutely miserable season. The Eagles sacked Frank de Boer after just four games, with the team being shut out in each one. It was then that they hired 70-year-old Roy Hodgson to try and right the ship.

Team News Burnley FC:

The past 30 days has been a tough one for Burnley FC as they, being in seventh place, haven’t managed to win a single game playing six. Also that they’ve conceded 11 goals, four coming off their encounter with Mighty Man City. Midfielder Robbie Brady has been encouraging as he scored two goals and one assist in just 126 minutes played but has done most of his work during the Carabao Cup. Chris Wood has shown his consistency with putting the ball in the net accumulating four goals in all competitions with nearly 60% of his 17 shots on target. After leading the team in goals last year, Sam Vokes has had trouble staying consistent.

Hey @pvanaanholt this is unacceptable #FPL @FPLUpdates_Tips @OptaJoe @OfficialFPL @premierleague @CPFC

Roberto Firmino played the game vs @CPFC starting in a false 9 role, he then rotated to the wings, dropped back into a CDM role with Henderson, then finished the game in right back after Milner got sent off.... #whataplayer

Massive respect to the brilliant supporters of @CPFC By far the best away support to come Anfield

Highlights were the @Wolves v @LCFC !
Lowlights were the @WatfordFC & @BurnleyOfficial ! 😛💪💥💥❤️❤️⚽️⚽️✔️✔️

Grim and Bear it: Sean Dyche is better at the survival game than Bear Grylls, but @BurnleyOfficial draw @WatfordFC was not pretty @MirrorFootball

When’s the @BurnleyOfficial equivalent? Always a Jack, but also also a Claret!! #togetherinfootball

FYI >>> 208 miles / 336 km running from @BurnleyOfficial to @WatfordFC this week via Rochdale, Buxton, Derby, Leicester, Northampton, Bletchley & King's Langley 🏃⚽💜💙

Obviously gutted at today's result. First half our shape was fantastic and we limited a very good side to minimal chances. Proud of the players and we must take the learning curves forward into the league campaign. Big thanks to all @BurnleyOfficial fans that came to support. ⚽️
