AFC Bournemouth have had a good start to the new season and are one of the few unbeaten teams left. Last week they earned a draw against Everton to earn 1 point and put them in 6th place. So far, they are averaging 2 goals a game, but their defending has struggled a bit after an opening day clean sheet. Chelsea alone is one of the toughest clubs to play not only in the EPL, but in the entire world. Especially at home where Chelsea does not drop points often. Now it is likely Bournemouth will not win possession, however in order to win they are going to have to take advantage of any counter attacks they are given. It is still very early in the season, but if Bournemouth wants to compete for a Europa League spot they really need to come out of Stamford Bridge with at least a point to show for.

Chelsea picked up their third consecutive win in the EPL last week when they defeated Newcastle by a score of 2-1. Since Chelsea benefited from a Newcastle own goal, Eden Hazard was the only Chelsea player to break into the scoring book. Chelsea dominated possession with 81%, but only really had 1 goal to show for. They also had 15 shots, but only 3 of those shots were on target. Now that Chelsea will be returning home, expect them to play much better in front of their home fans.

Even though both teams are in good form in the early parts of the season, expect Chelsea to dominate possession and earn another win at home.

Amazing first half performance. Disappointed not to keep the clean sheet but all that matters is that we’ve bounced back from our last defeat and are back in the top 4!

Solid win, great way to bounce back from last weekends result #CFC

Chelsea remain undefeated away from home in the Premier League since Thomas Tuchel took charge.

They're now six games without defeat on the road for the first time since April 2017.
