Arsenal has had a disappointing year and will finish in sixth place regardless of the result of the last match. They will need to focus on acquiring some new talent this summer because they have not been able to compete this year. At this point they can almost play a spoiler role as earning three points on the road will likely relegate Huddersfield. As much as they have struggled, they still have scored seventy-three goals, which ranks third in the league. The problem for Arsenal has been their defending. They allowed fifty-one goals, which does rank ninth in the league, but when compared to a club like Manchester City, who has conceded twenty-seven goals this season, it becomes a bigger issue. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has slightly under performed this year, and has only scored nine goals in the Premier League. He will need to play much better going forward in order to propel Arsenal to compete for a title again.

Huddersfield Town will put everything on the line in the last Premier League match of the season. They currently sit a sixteenth place, only one point ahead of the relegation line. A win against Arsenal would guarantee them a spot in the Premier League next season. However, a draw or loss would likely lead to them being relegated, as long as Southampton can pick up points in their game. Having a goal differential off negative twenty-nine could also be a reason why they get relegated. Steve Mounie leads Huddersfield in goals with just seven. For Huddersfield to have a chance they must feed off their home crowd and knowing they could be relegated, it will force them to play their best soccer of the season.

Huddersfield Town

(6-5-7) SU at home this season

(1-3-1) SU in their last five matches

Arsenal FC

(0-0-4) SU in their last four away matches

(1-0-0) SU against Huddersfield this season

As crazy as this sounds, Huddersfield has not been on a terrible run as of late. They drew with Chelsea and Manchester City in their last two games, so with this game possibly being their last in the Premier League for a year, they will find a way to earn a point against an underwhelming Arsenal club.
