NASCAR Picks, Predictions and Parlays for STP 500

NASCAR is in full swing in its second month of competition and it’s heating up, and this weekend is the STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway. The paperclip-shaped mile track has been home to many moments and some great finishes.
I’m going to predict my predictions and odds for this weekend’s race.

Kyle Busch +300 #18

It’s hard to not pick Kyle Busch, he’s on a roll lately, with two consecutive wins and he has three career victories at the shortest track on the NASCAR schedule. This past weekend, Busch tied “The King” Kyle Petty at 200, for the most wins in NASCAR. He’ll be looking for win 201, to be the most winningest driver in all of NASCAR.

Brad Keselowski +700 #2

Keselowski has a great chance to win this weekend. He has one win on the season, and three top fives and three top 10’s. Also, Keselowski has never DNFed at Martinsville, meaning he knows how to stay out of trouble for 500 laps. The No. 2 blue deuce is fifth in points, sitting just 60 points behind. Look for Keselowski to be there at the end.

Joey Logano +700 #22

The 2019 Daytona 500 winner is coming into the Sunday’s race sitting second in points, 15 points behind. He has one win on the season, including three top fives and four top 10’s. His Martinsville career includes one win, six top fives and nine top 10’s. Logano has an average start inside the top 10, with four poles and over 800 laps led in 20 starts. Logano will be a contender this weekend, looking to bypass Busch in the standings.

Kevin Harvick +700 #4

Harvick comes into the weekend, sitting third in points, just 24 points behind. The No.4 ford will be running the Mobil 1 sponsorship on Sunday. Harvick has one win at Martinsville in the past and in the five starts this year, he has three top fives, and four top 10’s. Look for Harvick to be there at the end, looking for that first win of the year. There’s a reason why they call him the closer.

This weekend’s race will be interesting and a close one, with the top three in points all with a legitimate shot to win. But my money is on Kyle Busch. He’s been dominate and no one has stopped him yet this season. He could make history tomorrow as the winningest driver in NASCAR, and we all know with how cocky Busch is, it’s a feat he wants to reach.

 PICK: Kyle Busch
