Wells Fargo Championship
Quail Hollow Club – Charlotte, NC
May 3-6, 2018
The Wells Fargo Championship has a loaded field this year, and it is led by Rory McIlroy. Not to mention he absolutely loves this course. He owns the course record of 61 and is the all-time tournament earnings leader. He has been playing some great golf lately and was in the last pairing of the Masters. Had a chance to win, just couldn’t get over the pressure.
Justin Thomas is in the field this week after missing the cut at the Zurich Classic with teammate Bud Cauley. He has been on fire this season with two wins and one second-place finish.
We also get to see Rickie Fowler and Phil Mickelson this week as both of them are teeing it up. Fowler is a perfect 6-for-6 with a win in 2012. Mickelson, however, is a flawless 13-for-13 and is leading the TOUR this season in birdies or better and loves this course.
Finally, Tiger Woods is back in the field after having an average to bad Masters showing. Woods is trying to play more this year to get back into the swing of things and good for him. He won here in 2007, but if he is going to win this season, he is going to have to beat some of the best.
Other notables include Webb Simpson, Masters Champ, Patrick Reed, Jason Day, Louis Oosthuizen, Tony Finau, and Tommy Fleetwood.

With this tournament you need to look to bet someone at the top. Quail Hollow has proved to be a tough test in the past, and your money should be on someone that knows the course and has been playing well. Could easily throw money at Mickelson and it could pay off. However, ride with Rory McIlroy this weekend.
